Our take
Regions publishes a clear package: a short 3.99% intro rate, a post-intro range of 7.75% to 14.625%, an 18% lifetime cap and a 5-point annual cap. Paid closing costs and no listed annual fee keep the cost to open and hold low, as long as you keep the line at least two years. Its Loan-in-a-Line conversion lets you fix part of the balance for a $100 fee.
Questions to ask Regions Bank
- Where in the post-intro range would my rate fall?
- Which rate discounts would I qualify for?
- Is there an annual fee in my state?
- What fixed rate would apply if I converted part of the balance today?
If it doesn't fit
- A national lender if you're outside Regions' branch states
- A lender with no early-closure clawback if you may sell within two years
How to compare it
Put any offer side by side on margin over prime, total fees, draw terms and fixed-rate options. Prime is 7.00% as of October 28, 2026. A broker with access to more than 180 lenders can price several of these in one application; check your rate and compare them with a direct quote from Regions Bank.
